Some are perfect for a leisurely cruise with the family, whilst others are for the days you feel like pushing yourself to the max. Whichever you fancy these routes are full of sights, coastal views and heritage. Enjoy!

    Jurassic Coast, Dorset

If you want stunning coastal views and jaw-dropping scenery, check out this awesome ride along the South Coast. You’re in for gorgeous sea views, historical landmarks and breathtaking scenery. There’s 3 routes to choose from, each giving you awesome views of the Dorset coastline!

    East Neuk 50 Cycle Route

If treading off the beaten path is your cup of tea, you’ll want to get yourself up to Scotland. There’s plenty of fishing ports and stunning beaches along the way, and a cheeky pub or two if you want to grab some lunch and a cold one! The route is 50 miles, so make sure you’ve had your porridge!

    Llanberis, Snowdonia

Oh. You wanted staggering views? Okay, okay - if you insist. Grab a Llanberis Pass and head up Snowdonia where picture-perfect views await you. Little tip from us - make sure your WAU bike is fully charged for this one, the climb is steep and a little bit of assistance might be in order!

    Crouch to Blackwater, Essex

This circular tour takes you through a whole host of quaint villages full of cosy pubs. The ride itself is a relaxing one, taking in plenty of sights, rivers and countryside. This route is ideal for a leisurely cycle with the whole family, and you’ll finish the day having notched up a cool 22 miles.

The South Downs Way, Hampshire to Sussex

Combine country and city on this picturesque route that takes you through Winchester, Brighton and beyond. It’s a tough one, but the farmland, woodlands and rivers are worth it. You’ll even pass the highest chalk cliff on the South Coast, so make sure you bring the camera for this one.

    Camel Trail, Cornwall

An abandoned railway sets the tone for this awesome ride through the Cornish countryside. Don’t be surprised to bump into an otter on this epic trip which starts in Padstow. The route is nice and flat, so you might not need too much help from your WAU bike on this one!

    Bristol to Bath Railway path

Just 20km separates the two cities, and the railway path is an ideal way to get between the two whilst taking in the sights! Along the way you’ll find sculptures and steam engines, and a nice pub in Saltford if you’re feeling peckish! Keep your wits about you - there might be some wildlife en route!

The Family Cycle Trail, Forest of Dean

This leisurely route is full of heritage sites, wildlife and picnic spots. Oh, and some of the views are beyond incredible too! Keep your eyes peeled for Wild Boar too - it has the largest population of Wild Boar in the UK. As the name suggests, this one is perfect for the whole family!

    Dragon Ride, Northumberland

Head into the forest with the family in Northumberland on this beginner-friendly route. Lush views are an ever-present on this 3 mile ride, and so are red squirrels, so keep your eyes peeled! A refreshment kiosk greets you at the end, so the sandwiches can stay at home today!

    Consett & Sunderland railway path

If you’re a fan of the water, you’re in for a treat! This 24 mile ride sees you cruise along the river and through the Marina before winding up at the beach! Talk about scenery. 2 hours should do the trick, and you’ll love the Artwork and open-air museum that joins you along the way.
